Who is Comparitec?

Comparitec is a cutting-edge FinTech company based in Chester, focused on developing disruptive financial propositions that serve thousands of customers daily. We're a passionate team of experts from diverse backgrounds, united by a shared mission to revolutionise financial services.

Our ethos is credit inclusivity. We've built a unique ecosystem that helps customers find suitable financial products when mainstream or high street options aren't available, while also providing tools to rebuild their credit and improve access to future lending.

Our brands include Digitonomy, a performance marketing business that connects consumers with the most suitable financial products through brands such as Little Loans, Cash Lady, Viva Money, Cash Flex and Clever Loans. We focus on delivering seamless digital journeys and high-impact marketing that drives results.

We also operate thimbl, a credit builder credit card underwritten by Lendable, designed to help customers improve their credit and build a better financial future.

Finally, Creditec is a credit matching platform that enables partners to offer their customers access to a broad marketplace of financial products, including bank accounts, credit cards and personal loans.

What You'll Be Doing

Designing user-first experiences for web and mobile platforms. Creating prototypes to test ideas and gather user feedback. Working closely with developers and product teams to bring designs to life. Using tools like Figma (or XD/Sketch) to craft beautiful, functional interfaces. Analysing data, heatmaps, and user sessions to improve conversion and usability. Running A/B tests (we use Convert) and validating ideas through experimentation. Exploring customer journeys to identify friction and opportunities. Championing accessibility and usability best practices.

What We're Looking For

A problem-solver who thrives on improving the customer experience. A passionate advocate for user-centred design. Someone who embraces testing and iterating to find the best solution. Comfortable presenting ideas and gathering feedback from across the business. Familiar with A/B testing tools (Convert or similar), heatmap/session tools (Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, FullStory), and analytics (Amplitude, Google Analytics). Solid grasp of UI/UX design principles with a strong portfolio of work. Bonus: experience with front-end development and/or implementing UI animations (e.g. using LottieFiles).
