About the role
As part of our Platform project delivery team, you will support our Product Owners, Developers, Users, Stakeholders and Marketing team to conceptualise and deliver an effective user experience. You will facilitate collaboration, bringing together technical knowhow with design aesthetics. Your exceptional communication skills will keep stakeholders in the loop, building consensus on the design and arranging signoff at key stages of the project.
Key responsibilities:
Interpret business requirements to ensure that designs meet the needs of all target user groups.
Be confident with discovery phases, tree-testing, personas, competitor, user and market research.
Optimise UX research tools (such as Livesession, Optimizely and Lysnna) to gain insights, interpret heatmaps and present these to stakeholders to guide decision making and influence prioritisation.
Create UX journey flow diagrams to help stakeholders visualise where new features might cause blockers or create new opportunities.
Create wireframes, hi-fidelity mobile and desktop designs and prototypes in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrate a high level of expertise in Figma / Balsamiq or other design / wireframing tools as well as strong agile and UX principles.
Able to design and maintain reusable components in Figma, and work with developers to bring it into reality; transforming the design system into a maintainable and well-documented code component library using Storybook or similar.
Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure that designs are completed to a high technical standard, and tickets can be easily and correctly interpreted b Developers and QAs.
Manage the user feedback survey, communicating directly with customers to arrange interviews, collating useful qualitative feedback, and presenting it back to stakeholders to influence business requirements.
Lead regular UX review meetings, where you will be required to investigate user feedback and identify any potential UX issues with recently released features. Bugs and feature requests can then be added to the backlog.
Responsible for facilitating UX ceremonies during the requirements gathering, design and post-release phases; with both internal stakeholders and end users. This might include card-sorting, speak-aloud sessions, focus groups, developer UX handovers, retros etc. You will then collate data from these sessions and report back to stakeholders to back up your design decisions.
Take ownership of the icon set and image libraries, collaborating with marketing team and developers to manage those assets to ensure consistency with the brand.
About You
UI/UX Designer experience

You keep up-to-date with the latest trends in user experience, informing key stakeholders when new approaches or useful technologies come to light.
Experience of working with progressive web apps is desirable
Experience of working in the fin-tech sector is desirable
