Our goal is to support better decision-making and long-term financial outcomes by providing content that is timely, relevant, and user-centric.
Position overview: We are looking for a UX Writer with a strong grasp of behavioral science and experience in regulated industries to support an innovative project for a leading independent global investment management company. In this role, you will develop impactful and empathetic content that empowers users to make informed investment decisions and strengthens their overall engagement with the platform. Your writing will support key user journeys across a dynamic investment experience, helping to guide, inform, and motivate users in a way that is compliant, accessible, and aligned with behavioral best practices. Your work will play a critical role in enhancing the platform's user experience and building long-term client relationships.
Initial 3-4 month contract with strong potential for extension up to one year or longer. Occasional travel to the London City office is required.
Responsibilities: Writing concise, targeted content for nudges, prompts, notifications, and educational messages, dynamically delivered based on user behavior or contextual triggers
Applying behavioral finance principles to guide users toward better decision-making; - Ensuring content is empathetic, engaging, and context-sensitive while remaining compliant and unambiguous
Customizing copy according to user segments, considering factors like experience level, risk profile, and behavioral tendencies
Collaborating with UX and product teams to create persuasive, user-centric messaging that supports key platform goals
Supporting experimentation (e.g. A/B testing), interpret results, and refine messaging for optimal impact
Participating in research activities to iterate on content based on real-world feedback
Working alongside compliance and legal stakeholders to ensure adherence to FCA guidelines and other regulatory standards
Requirements: At least 4 years of demonstrated experience in UX writing, content design, or copywriting--ideally within a regulated industry such as FinTech or HealthTech
Solid grasp of behavioral science and its application in persuasive, ethical communication
Ability to simplify complex concepts without losing nuance or intent
Experience working within multidisciplinary teams across product and compliance functions
Nice to have: Familiarity with financial regulations, particularly FCA requirements
Understanding of behavioral finance strategies and their influence on user decisions
Portfolio showcasing behavioral content, dynamic messaging, or regulatory-friendly writing
