Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced paralegal/Trainee Solicitor to join our team at Belshaw & Curtin Limited. This role will primarily involve handling disrepair claims in the County Court and claims under the Environmental Protection Act 1990, as well as related personal injury claims. This position is crucial in helping our clients navigate the legal system effectively.

Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of disrepair claims and related personal injury cases. Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs. Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations. Conduct legal research to support case strategies. Advise clients on their rights and options regarding their claims. Collaborate with other legal professionals to ensure comprehensive case management.

Requirements

Experienced paralegal or trainee solicitor must have at least 2 years relevant experience in civil litigation. Strong understanding of property law, particularly disrepair claims. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently under pressure. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
