Vaccines National Key Account Manager

The National KAM will lead on the identification and development of business relationships with key stakeholders within the Retail Pharmacy (RP)/ National Travel Clinic (NTC) vaccine market and develop a strategy to optimise performance within the segments.

Your tasks in detail:

  • Negotiate contracts with high level executives within key accounts to ensure successful adoption and implementation of the commercial offering.
  • Will have responsibility for the optimal positioning on Travel Algorithms for key accounts once Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) opinion confirmed and drive this through the extended networks within both NTC/RP.
  • Motivate accounts and look for innovative ways to elevate the Dengue conversation accounts have with travelers and position above other paid for vaccines.\xe2\x80\x8b
  • Partnering with key accounts to understand needs on disease awareness education and product training and preferred routes to disseminating info to their internal team through Omi- Channel Engagement (OCE).\xe2\x80\x8b
  • Ability to confidently utilise a variety of virtual platforms and excellent presentation skills, to deliver best in class interactions and provide an outstanding value proposition to the customer, building long-term productive relationships.
  • Leverage our digital approach and customise assets according to needs, requires close working with wider cross functional team to ensure our digital assets meet their requirements.
  • Partner closely with Cross functional Vaccines commercial team (including the virtual KAM team managed by a Contract Service Organisation) to ensure strategy execution and alignment, monitor education needs, and uncover opportunities.
  • To ensure that all knowledge management and CRM systems are maintained in accordance with Takeda processes.
  • Comprehend the legal and compliance caveats around personal data privacy, creating transparency on how we process the data.

Key knowledge and/ or experience needed
  • Degree in scientific or business-related subject or equivalent qualification ideally.
  • Significant industry sales experience (required) and detailed knowledge of the Travel Vaccines Market (desirable), with the ability to assimulate and communicate complex clinical data
  • Exceptional business planning and account management skills, and project management skills
  • Clean driving license
  • Right to work in the EU
  • ABPI qualified
  • Clean driving license
