Due to internal progression we are now seeking an experienced

Value Stream Manager

who shares our purpose of enabling engineering breakthroughs that lead to a better tomorrow. The role of Value Stream Manager has responsibility and leadership for the overall Thermal Value Stream operation at Ansty Park - a multi million pound part of our business. The Value Stream Manager drives the Parker Lean system and contributes to our strategic goals. The role is responsible for meeting the sales plan, reducing operating costs, improving cash flow and customer experience by executing 50% lead time reduction on core parts. The Value Stream Manager oversees day-to-day production, quality and ME activities to meet daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly expectations.

Key Accountabilities



Responsible for the Value Stream P&L's including cost analysis and opportunities, product line margin, deflation goals and manufacturing productivity Safety and duty of care of all team members Contribute to long term manufacturing strategies and automation Strong focused management of aged work orders in production Compliance to manufacturing procedures, including ITAR and ensuring audit compliance Operational leadership including successful Lean implementation resulting in productivity gains Positive mind set with an inclusive and inspiring management style to grow and develop the teams potential

Who we are looking for



Proven experience in engineering or manufacturing background, preferably within Aerospace Sure and credible leader who can develop, empower and engage large teams. Analytical skills including previous experience of managing a budget; preparing reports and understanding KPI's to drive focused decision making and performance. Knowledge of AS9100, Part 21, NADCAP (Heat treatment, welding, NDT, Chemical cleanliness) would be an advantage. Implementation of Lean tools and techniques including VSM, SMED, SPC, JIT, 5S, visual management and TPM. Planning, project management and problem-solving skills i.e. A3s, PDCA. Excellent coaching and problem-solving skills.
