Technician
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Valve Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically minded individual with a strong background in valve maintenance and repair to play a key role within our organisation.
Key
Responsibilities
Maintain and repair a wide range of control valves and actuators, including positioners, boosters, solenoids, switches and regulators Maintain and repair various isolation valves, such as gate valves, parallel slide valves and ball valves, when required Use diagnostic tools and perform pressure testing Set up and calibrate associated instruments Ensure all safety requirements are followed, including conducting safety checks of tools and equipment Record valve overhaul and test details within the Valve Management System Actively promote and uphold the company's Core Values in all work activities
Skills
and
Experience
NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering, ONC Engineering or equivalent qualification is essential OEM training is desirable General understanding of Team products and services is advantageous Confident in using a wide range of workshop equipment Strong problem-solving skills Must hold a full UK driving licence
Working
Environment
Primarily workshop based Occasional site work may be required by agreement May be required to drive company or hired vehicles when necessary
