We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Valve Technician to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing valves across various industrial applications. This role requires a strong mechanical background, electrical knowledge. The Valve Technician will ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of valves to ensure optimal performance.
Interpret technical schematics, diagrams, to facilitate accurate troubleshooting.
Assist in the installation of new valve systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and technical specifications.
Troubleshoot electrical components associated with valve systems, including sensors and actuators.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and professionally during site visits or service calls.
Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance purposes.
On-site work will be critical to support the work we offer, flexibility and self motivation essential. some overnight stays may be needed.
Skills
Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings.
Strong mechanical knowledge related to valve systems and industrial equipment.
Knowledge of automation systems.
Electrical experience, including troubleshooting sensors, actuators, wiring,
Ability to perform maintenance tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate technical information to clients and team members.
