Valve Technician / Maintenance Engineer

to join our growing operations team. This is a hands-on, field-based role focused on the maintenance, repair, and installation of air valves and industrial valves across the UK. Working closely with field teams, contractors, and key stakeholders, you will play a vital role in ensuring our projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. The role includes both planned and emergency/reactive works, so flexibility and a problem-solving mindset are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out maintenance, installation, and replacement of air valves and industrial valves across various UK sites. Conduct asset inspections and condition surveys. Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Accurately complete job records and reports. Work towards company KPIs and participate in an on-call rota as required.

What We're Looking For

Experience within the water industry or with pipeline infrastructure is preferred, especially with valve systems - though not essential. Flexibility to support reactive and emergency works across the UK. Strong understanding of health & safety protocols, including risk assessments and method statements. Practical problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Strong communication and teamwork capabilities. Full UK driving licence is essential.
