Job Summary

:

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a

Van Driver & Pick and Pack Operative

. This is a dual role involving the accurate picking and packing of customer orders within our warehouse and delivering them promptly and safely to various destinations using a company van.

Due to the nature of the role, we require short listed applicants to undertake a basic CRB check which we will pay for. Any job offer is subject to compliance in this area.

Clean Driving License preferred, 3 points considered.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse (Pick & Pack):

Accurately pick and pack customer orders based on picking lists. Prepare and label packages for dispatch, ensuring quality control standards are met. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation. Report any damaged or missing items to supervisors.

Driving (Van Delivery):

Load and unload the van with customer orders. Safely deliver goods to customers on scheduled routes. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries. Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures where required. Carry out vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues.

Requirements:

Full UK driving license (clean or minimal points preferred). Previous experience in delivery driving and/or warehouse operations is desirable. Physically fit and able to lift and carry packages. Good time management and organisational skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Basic literacy and numeracy skills.

Desirable:

Familiarity with delivery areas. Customer Service Skills Fork lift truck experiance
