We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining excellent communication with clients and team members. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle heavy lifting as part of the job.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as necessary while adhering to safety protocols. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any changes that may arise. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information and any issues encountered during transit. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure timely preparation of goods for delivery. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver is essential, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in commercial driving roles. Familiarity with warehouse operations is advantageous, including experience in loading and unloading goods. Proven ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Excellent communication skills are required to interact positively with customers and team members. A valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle being operated is mandatory.
