Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual for the position of van delivery driver. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivery driving and , with the ability to perform light lifting and communicate effectively. This role is crucial in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining operational efficiency within our team.

Duties

Safely operate a van to deliver goods to specified locations. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-ups, including documentation of any issues encountered. Collaborate with bakery staff to ensure efficient processing of orders. Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding delivery schedules and any changes. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver is essential. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is highly desirable. Experience in warehouse operations, including inventory management, is an advantage. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for loading and unloading goods.
