Duties

Safely operate commercial vehicles, including flatbed lorries and other specialised transport equipment Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Deliver goods efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely arrivals and pickups Assist with loading and unloading cargo, utilising warehouse experience when necessary Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams Perform basic mechanical checks and report any vehicle issues promptly Adhere to all health and safety protocols during daily operations Support warehouse activities as required, including stock organisation and inventory management

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving and delivery roles, preferably with driver licences for vehicles or similar Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and adherence to road regulations Mechanical knowledge to identify common vehicle issues and perform basic troubleshooting Experience with flatbed lorries or specialised transport equipment is advantageous Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, dispatchers, and team members Warehouse experience is beneficial for handling cargo efficiently Ability to operate within a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
