Roles and Responsibilities



As an

LCV Driver

, you'll be responsible for the secure and compliant delivery of pharmaceutical goods. You will play a key role in representing Mawdsleys on the road and ensuring our clients receive their products on time and in full. Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering pharmaceutical products in line with customer requirements and business service levels. Ensuring compliance with

Good Distribution Practice (GDP)

and

MHRA

standards at all times. Following all SOPs and ensuring driving and vehicle activities meet

DVSA regulations

. Supporting temperature monitoring procedures for all temperature-sensitive deliveries. Acting as a professional ambassador of Mawdsleys in interactions with customers and colleagues. Communicating clearly and effectively with drivers, supervisors, and transport management. Assisting the Transport team during periods of high demand or staff absence. Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For From You



We're seeking reliable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused individuals who take pride in their work and understand the importance of compliance in pharmaceutical logistics.

Essential:



Full, clean UK driving licence. Previous experience in multi-drop delivery roles. Experience driving 3.5t MWB or LWB panel vans. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to plan, prioritise, and use initiative. Flexible with shifts and willing to work additional hours as needed. Honest, open, and committed to providing excellent customer service.

Desirable:



Understanding of PDA usage in delivery operations. Problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure. A passion for compliance and a proactive approach to learning. Ability to self-motivate and contribute to team success.
