Summary

We are seeking a reliable Van Driver to join our team at R&A Engineering Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering products safely and efficiently while maintaining our commitment to quality service. This position is crucial for supporting our operations and ensuring timely deliveries.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a van to deliver products to clients and suppliers. Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies. Perform vehicle checks before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance. Communicate effectively with the logistics team regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise. Assist with loading and unloading goods as needed in the warehouse. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance. Management of stock room, finished stock inventory and packaging inventory Transporting materials in the factory, often using forklifts and/or other equipment Operating bead blasting machine, if required Cutting up of materials and issuing to relevant departments Helping with keeping the factory clean & tidy Loading and operating CNC machines, if required Carrying out any other duties as necessary

Requirements

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is preferred. Basic mechanical knowledge is an advantage for vehicle maintenance. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

Working Hours:

40 Hours per week 07:30 - 16:30 Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 13:30 Friday 23 days holidays per year
