We are seeking a reliable and skilled Van Driver/Board erector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient erection and servicing of estate agent and letting agents boards in various locations. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations. The Van Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a van to transport goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Maintain accurate work records and complete necessary paperwork. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Assist with basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle maintenance as needed. Collaborate with team members to optimise routes and schedules.

Skills

Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role,with van driving experience. Strong mechanical knowledge to address minor vehicle issues efficiently. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Ability to drive various types of vans A valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle class required for the job. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in completing delivery tasks. IT literal and ability to think on feet
