Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.

Duties

Operate a van to collect goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Communicate with warehouse staff regarding unloading procedures. Maintain accurate delivery records and logs as required. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries or concerns.

Experience

Previous experience as a Van Driver or Delivery Driver is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes is advantageous. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with clients and team members. Mechanical knowledge will be beneficial for performing basic vehicle maintenance tasks. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
