To ensure the safe transfer of manufactured parts between sites are completed in a safe and efficient manner in line with company policy

Key Responsibilities:

Vehicle Unloading and Goods Receipt:

Good parts management skills when receiving and checking loads into Site Fully conversant with goods in process and able to take necessary action to reconcile delivery inaccuracies Able to place goods into appropriate storage locations

Vehicle Loading and Despatching Goods:

Aware of Warehouse and site layouts and inter-relationship between different areas Able to securely load vehicle to ensure safe transfer from one site to the next. Identify and correct packaging and labelling faults in loads assembled for transfer Able to load vehicles in a safe and effective manner

General Housekeeping:

Awareness of hazards resulting in spills and leakages of product ensuring such spills and leakages are dealt with immediately or reported to others for action Awareness of necessity to maintain a debris free Warehouse and surrounding areas taking own initiative to clear such debris or report to others for action Van must be kept clean each day.

Quality Assurance Procedures:

Aware of quality and quarantine issues Carry out quality checks and report identified faults Use the quality outcomes to quarantine products using appropriate procedures ####

Pay and Schedule:

Pay Range:

12.75 - 13.25 per hour, based on experience and skills.

Schedule:

Monday to Thursday, 07.30 - 16.30

Friday 07.30 - 14.00

Holidays:

28 days, including bank holidays

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Qualifications or Training:

Forklift truck licence Full driving License for vehicles up to 3.5T Good understanding of Health and Safety Regulations Manual Handling Experience Warehouse NVQ 2 qualifications (desirable)

Good verbal communication and listening skills Ability to use own initiative to think through problems to find solutions Ability to work to targets and deadlines Literate with good written communication skills Numerate in application of number skills Able to undertake duties including lifting and carrying weights up to 15kgs approx * Computer literate
