Van Driver
Job Description
Highlander are looking to recruit a security shredding van driver, with either a Class C1 or Class C licence as the van fleet includes 5 & 7.5 ton vehicles . The successful candidate will be responsible for securely collecting confidential waste paper from a range of businesses, and transporting this to the Highlander depot in East Kilbride. Given the nature of the material being collected their is a high emphasis on the security aspect of the job.
We cover the whole of Scotland, and Northern England so the successful candidate would be expected to carry out long-distance driving when required, therefore a sound geographic knowledge would be advantageous.
It is also essential that you are physically fit as this role can involve lifting heavy bags/boxes of paper from various locations.
Key requirements and skills:
Clean Class C1 or Class C driving licence Flexible to work between the hours of 5 am and 7 pm. Good time-keeping Reliable and trustworthy Aged 25 or over (fleet insurance)
In this role you will be the face of the company, liaising directly with customers, therefore, you must be well presented and have excellent communication skills.
