We are seeking a reliable and skilled Van Driver to join our team. Working from our Warboys depot you will be part of a growing team delivering plumbing supplies to customers throughout the East of England.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. The role requires excellent driving skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Pay: 27,500.00-28,500.00 per year

Experience: Over 25 (for insurance reasons)
Driving: 3 years (preferred)

Responsibilities
Operate a van to transport goods to various locations as scheduled.
Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo from our mercedes curtain sided Luton vans.
Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and report any mechanical issues promptly.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times, locations, and any issues encountered during transit.
Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and clients regarding delivery schedules and requirements.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation of goods.
Requirements
Valid driving licence . No more than 6 points.
Previous experience as a van driver or in a similar delivery role is preferred.
Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.
A good understanding of safety regulations related to driving and cargo handling.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
