12.21per hour + Escalated rates over the weekend.

Shift Patterns:

Mondays - Friday, 9am and 5pm

About the Trust



Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust provides hospital-based services from three main sites - the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch, Kidderminster Hospital and Treatment Centre, and Worcestershire Royal Hospital in Worcester - as well as some community-based services. We provide a wide range of services to a population of over 603,000 people in Worcestershire as well as caring for patients from surrounding counties and further afield.

What you'll be responsible for:



To collect and deliver a range of goods including, drugs, bloods, furniture, feed bottles, case notes, specimens, x-rays and medical gas cylinders.

Duties to include:



To be responsible for the regular and sufficient removal of general, recycling and clinical waste.

To ensure all waste streams are segregated, handled, and disposed of in line with the site requirements.

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.

You'll have the following skills/experience:



A full driving licence

Happy to be in a fast-paced physical role

Eye for detail

A good understanding of spoken and written English.

Trained in Manual Handling
