About Madestays:

Madestays is a luxury property management and hospitality-tech company managing a 180M+ portfolio of high-end homes across London. Our team handles everything from guest services and property styling to logistics and operations--delivering a seamless five-star experience to property owners and guests alike.

The Role:

We're looking for a reliable and experienced

Van Driver

to support our property operations team with

transporting furniture, appliances, and supplies

between homes across Greater London. This is a flexible, freelance role with opportunities for a

monthly retainer

for guaranteed availability.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistics & Transport

Collect and deliver items between Madestays properties and storage units Support property setups and clear-outs, including new furniture installations

Handling & Lifting

Safely move large or heavy items (25-30kg), including up staircases in properties without lifts Load and unload the van efficiently and carefully to avoid damage

Communication & Coordination

Liaise with our operations team for scheduling and location updates Maintain professional, friendly conduct at all times while on-site

Essential Requirements:

Valid

UK Category B driving licence

(up to 3.5 tonnes) with

clean driving record

Minimum

2 years' experience

driving medium or large vans Physically able to

carry heavy loads

up and down stairs

Punctual, reliable, and professional

at all times Comfortable navigating London traffic and using GPS tools

Preferred (but not required):

Ownership of a

medium or large van

(SWB, LWB, XLWB) Access to

helpers or porters

for larger deliveries or installations Familiarity with

London boroughs and traffic patterns

Experience in removals, deliveries, or logistics within hospitality or property
