Van Driver/3.5T Driver

We are recruiting for an Van Driver (3.5T) / Freight - logistics industry. You must be flexible and and able to multi-task.

Start Date: Immediate / Flexible / Start with 3 - 5 Days / Day or Night

You will need to be able to drive a our van and make collections and deliveries from time to time, driving miles according to the delivery needs.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a van to transport goods to their destinations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is secure and protected. Plan routes and follow schedules to ensure timely deliveries. Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns. Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs and vehicle inspection reports. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations. Returning/collecting items to and from suppliers. Keeping the vehicle refueled, maintained, and clean.
Experience:
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Occasionally you may need to arrive a little earlier or stay a little later, however you can either claim overtime or work less on other days.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.25-12.50 per hour
