Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Multi Drop Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting palletised goods and materials safely and efficiently, using a curtain side van with a tail lift. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to perform some heavy lifting, and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of service. As a Van Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Drive a van to deliver palletised goods to various locations in a timely manner. Load and unload items, ensuring that all products are handled with care and secured properly during transit. Communicate effectively the transport team and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and report any maintenance needs. Maintain accurate delivery records, to include POD's. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the road.

Qualifications

Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is essential. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is an advantage. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 25 kg) safely and efficiently. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members. Familiarity with warehouse operations is beneficial but not essential. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service excellence.
