Our branch in Bury St Edmunds is looking to recruit an experienced van driver who knows their way about Suffolk and who has previous warehouse experience, no HGV license needed. The ideal candidate should be physically fit and must be over the age of 25 with relevant driving experience and a clean driving license, and. Van Driver, Stores - Bury St Edmunds

The position offers regular hours, Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings on a Rota basis.

Responsibilities:

Delivering goods to customers at various locations throughout Suffolk in a safe and timely manner

Loading/Unloading the van

Lifting heavy items

Contacting customers who request an ETA for their delivery

Stock maintenance

Warehouse duties

Booking in deliveries

Placing stock in the correct areas/Storing goods in the designated areas

Essential Criteria:

Good physical fitness

Relevant driving experience

Ability to load goods safely

Positive attitude and great work ethic

Basic numeracy and literacy

Attention to detail

Clean driving license

Desirable Criteria:

Basic fundamentals of plumbing and heating

Good geographical knowledge of Suffolk
