Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled van driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial driving, with experience in delivery driving and warehouse operations. This role requires excellent communication skills and mechanical knowledge to ensure efficient handling of goods, particularly with flatbed vehicles.

Responsibilities

Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver goods to various locations. Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and securing of items on flatbed vehicles. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including documentation of any issues encountered during transport. Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any mechanical issues as necessary. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any queries or concerns from clients. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road and at delivery sites.

Requirements

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with flatbed vehicles. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to safety standards.
