Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation and maintenance, as well as excellent communication skills to coordinate with warehouse staff and customers.

Responsibilities

Operate the van safely and efficiently for deliveries and pickups. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation. Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies during transportation.

Skills

Proven experience as a Van Driver or similar role, with a valid driving licence. Strong organisational skills to manage delivery schedules effectively. Excellent communication skills for liaising with team members and clients. Experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively within a warehouse environment while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency.
