Overview

We are a friendly, family run business manufacturing glass sealed units and conservatory roof kits with a reputation for supplying quality products and providing excellent customer service.

We are seeking a Van Driver to join our transport team. Driving long wheel base panel vans you will supply a regular customer base throughout the Midlands , East Anglia and the South East. You will be experienced with a clean driving licence, preferably with C1 category on licence, and you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.

We are offering a permanent position, Monday to Friday working with the possibility of overtime.

Responsibilities

Execute delivery routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any incidents. Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise. Demonstrate mechanical knowledge by performing basic maintenance on the vehicle as needed.

Qualifications

Valid driving licence. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers. Mechanical knowledge is preferred to assist in basic vehicle maintenance tasks. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
