Van Driver
Job Description
We are looking for a van driver to empty clothing banks across Cumbria/North east
You will collect the van at the depot, after daily checks of the vehicle, collect rota for the day, proceed to collect clothing from various clothing banks on the rota. You will be responsible to ensure banks are emptied on time, correctly bagged and to unload the vehicle once the shift is over. You are responsible to ensure all banks are correctly locked and any defects reported. The shift will be from 7 AM - 7pm Tuesday and Friday every week.
You must be Reliable, able to lift bags up to 10kg, work well under timescales and alone for long periods alone. Able to drive a Sprinter Lwb with heavy loads in a safe well mannered way, around tight city streets and be good with navigation with finding addresses using navigation apps. You must have experience of driving a van of similar size or show you are very capable of driving the vehicle safely.
13 per hour 2 x 12 hour shifts
Self employed contractor role - There is no sick/Holiday pay
