Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for various aspects of warehouse operations, including materials handling, stock management, and shipping and receiving tasks. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a fast-paced environment that values efficiency and safety. Prior warehouse experience and mechanical knowledge are advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. All roles are paid positions, including internships.

Duties

Handling materials and stock through lifting, moving, and organising items within the warehouse Operating forklifts safely to load, unload, and transport goods across the facility Managing inventory using warehouse management systems such as AS400 or similar platforms Picking and packing orders accurately for dispatch Assisting with shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely deliveries Stocking shelves and maintaining organised storage areas for easy access Conducting routine inspections of equipment and materials handling tools Supporting maintenance activities related to warehouse operations and mechanical systems Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided Mechanical knowledge or experience in construction is advantageous Proficiency with warehouse management systems such as AS400 is desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Valid forklift licence or willingness to obtain one is highly beneficial Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in stock management tasks Good physical fitness to stand for extended periods and perform manual handling tasks Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards safety and efficiency

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21-12.81 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
