About Us
We are a fast-growing, independent craft brewery with national supermarket listings and a growing on-trade footprint. With increasing volumes moving through multiple sites, strong stock control, safe handling, and reliable local distribution are critical to our operation. We are now looking for a dependable and hands-on Van Driver / Warehouse Operative to support our logistics and warehouse function.
Role Overview
This is a practical, varied role combining local van driving with warehouse operations. You will be responsible for safely delivering stock locally supporting order picking and packing, managing stock movements between sites, and ensuring both warehouse locations are organised, accurate, and efficient.
You will work closely with the office admin, brewery, and operations teams to ensure stock is moved, recorded, and delivered correctly and on time.
Key Responsibilities
Driving & Deliveries
Drive company van for local deliveries approximately 3 days/week.
Warehouse admin approximately 2 days/week
Deliver packaged beer and related stock to customers, depots, or internal locations.
Load and unload stock safely, ensuring goods are secure in transit.
Represent the business professionally when making deliveries.
Complete basic vehicle checks and report any issues promptly.
Warehouse Operations
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately.
Pack and wrap pallets ready for outbound deliveries from the satellite warehouse.
Organise and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.
Assist with goods-in processes, checking deliveries against paperwork.
Carry out regular stock checks and cycle counts.
Stock Management & Transfers
Transfer stock between the brewery site and satellite warehouse as required.
Accurately record stock movements in line with internal systems and processes.
Liaise with office and brewery teams regarding stock in, stock out, and availability.
Support stock rotation and quality control procedures.
Coordination & Administration
Work with office admin to organise delivery schedules and routes.
Communicate clearly with internal teams regarding delivery times, delays, or issues.
Ensure delivery paperwork and internal records are completed accurately.
Health, Safety & Compliance
Follow all manual handling and health & safety procedures.
Be comfortable lifting and moving heavy loads safely.
Adhere to company policies, food safety standards, and traceability requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
Full UK driving licence (clean or minimal points).
Forklift license - (Can be carried out in-house)
Experience driving a van for deliveries.
Comfortable with regular heavy lifting and physical work.
Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
Desirable Attributes
Experience in FMCG, food & drink, or brewery environments.
Familiarity with basic stock systems or warehouse management processes.
Flexible and proactive approach to workload.

Pay: 26,000.00-27,500.00 per year
