Herd Van Hire Bury st Edmunds are currently looking for a Rental Cordinator to join our busy hire location, to assist in the full time running of our Ixworth, Bury st Edmunds branch.

Reporting to the Branch Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of the Hire location

Responsibilities are including but not limited to

Dealing with all enquiries, bookings, and deposits appropriately and in a timely manner, via phone, email and online.

Completing all related admin tasks relating to the Vehicles Rental

Actively driving sales and searching for business during down periods through appropriate methods.

Marketing via social media the complete rental operation and Rental offers

Checking In & Out vehicles, and ensuring the customer experience is of the highest standard

Ensure vehicles are checked and meet the required standards pre-Rental

Manage and arrange vehicle maintenance and Breakdowns through our supplier network

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the below attributes

Be of a confident manor and able to deal with customers' requirements and requests

Have a flexible can-do approach to the position

Experience in running online systems, dealing with email and phone enquiries from potential customers.

Able to be self-organised and can manage tasks in the right priority.

Ideally come from a Vehicle Rental background but not essential.

Be able to push long term Van Rentals to further vehicle utilisation

Hold a full UK driving licence for vehicles up to 3.5 ton

Previous experience of providing customer service either via telephone, online or in a customer-facing role would be beneficial but not essential

Hours of work will total 45 hours a week including Alternating Saturday mornings for which time off during the week will be given.

Salary is negotiable dependant on experience
