Hourly Rate: Up to 35.51 (inclusive of holiday and preparation allowance)

Contract Type: 0 hour contract, fixed term until 31 st August 2026

Working Hours: Part time, 8 hours a week

You will plan and deliver engaging sessions to Adult learners, focused on the skills required for employment as a Barber. This role would suit someone with experience in Barbering. A teaching qualification is desirable, though support will be provided for the right candidate to achieve one.




Topics include:
Drying and finishing Men's hair Cutting men's hair Facial cutting techniques Outlines and detailing in Men's hair

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality teaching on the barbering course. Monitor learner progress, support achievement, and encourage progression into further training or employment. Keep up to date with developments in the barbering industry. Ensure adherence to SGS's Quality Management systems, safeguarding responsibilities, and health and safety practices

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

Industry experience in Barbering. A teaching or assessor qualification (or willingness to work towards one). Excellent communication skills and a learner-focused attitude. Passionate about the future of the construction industry.
