ABOUT THE ROLE



As a Client Manager, you will be managing a small portfolio of clients and you will support them throughout the VAT cycle to ensure they are fully VAT compliant and that our commitment to excellent customer service is upheld. You will also be assisting the Client Management team with all aspects of preparatory work and also with VAT submissions so that we meet every deadline for our clients.

What You'll Do



o Understand clients' VAT requirements

o Communicate directly with clients and colleagues to ensure the collation of data is in order to complete VAT reporting

o Prepare your own clients' and also help other Client Managers with the preparation of VAT returns and additional VAT filings, using our inhouse platform

o Work as a team to ensure that all VAT returns and VAT filings are submitted on time

o Monitor current and future international VAT requirements for our clients, and help them benefit from further relevant services

o Work closely and co-operatively with our Business Development and Business Support teams to ensure our clients benefit from a seamless service from start to finish

o Liaise with tax authorities and agents around the world

o Work closely with our Client Services Administrators and provide ongoing professional development training

o Ensure the company CRM system is updated and accurate at all times

o Provide ad hoc customer support

What You'll Need



o Working knowledge of Value Added Tax and indirect taxation in the EU and globally

o Experience of working effectively in an office-based environment

o Solid customer service focus and problem-solving attitude

o Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

o Methodical, organised and confident working skills

o Strong team working ethic and ability to work collaboratively

o Calmness under pressure

o Able to readily follow defined systems, procedures and protocols

o Genuine enthusiasm for e-commerce, finance and international trade

o Strong written and verbal communication skills

o Proficiency in Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other web-based tools

o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

o Written and spoken fluency in English (essential) and in an additional language (desirable)
