Are you a VAT Senior Manager or VAT Director looking to take a lead in the strategic development of the Southern Region of a Top 10 Firm? Are you seeking a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from OMBs to large international listed groups? Would you enjoy working with the National Head of VAT in order to develop a nationwide VAT strategy?

Our client, a Top 10 firm based in Reading, are looking to recruit a VAT Director to head up their Southern Region and to take an active lead in developing the region\'s strategic vision. The team provide VAT advice to a range of large corporate and multinational clients assisting in areas such as:

• European supply chain management to minimise overseas compliance obligations
• corporate finance, advising clients on optimising VAT recovery on deal costs following an acquisition or disposal.

Your responsibilities will include:

• taking an active lead in developing the region\'s VAT strategic vision.
• working closely with the National Head of VAT to support the delivery of VAT\'s national strategy.
• owning and developing a portfolio of clients including targeted business development
• providing VAT advisory services and taking a lead on complex cases

The successful candidate will:

• have experience of working as a VAT Associate Director or VAT Director
• have current or previous advisory experience
• be able to demonstrate winning new clients and developing additional fees from current clients
