Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Vehicle Appraiser
to join our service team at Minster Motor Group. The Appraiser will be responsible for accurately inspecting and assessing vehicles to identify required repairs, maintenance needs, and overall condition. This role is ideal for someone with strong automotive knowledge who takes pride in delivering precise assessments that help keep our workshop running smoothly.Duties
Inspecting vehicles thoroughly to assess their condition, mileage, and service requirements Identifying mechanical faults, cosmetic damage, and safety concerns, reporting findings clearly Recording accurate appraisals to support the service team in prioritising work efficiently Liaising with technicians and service advisors to ensure accurate repair estimates Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostic processes
Skills
Strong attention to detail and excellent diagnostic awareness Good understanding of body work and maintenance requirements Ability to work efficiently under time constraints and manage multiple appraisals Effective communicator, able to work closely with technicians and service advisors A proactive and reliable attitude with strong teamwork skills A full UK driving licence
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 30,000.00-33,000.00 per year
