Job Description
Vehicle Assembly Technician
Due to expansion, a vacancy has opened for a Vehicle Assembly Technician at our workshop based in Leicestershire.
Assembly of hand built supercars, from initial assembly through to customer delivery.
Daily tasks include:
Chassis preparation.
Engine / Transmission preparation.
Installation of vehicle wiring.
Fitting of suspension and steering components.
Fitting of braking components.
Fitting of fuel system.
Installation of body components to chassis.
Wheel alignment.
Interior fitout.
Pre-delivery checks.
Occasional tasks include:
Service / maintenance work on customer cars.
Assist the Bodyshop as and when required.
Travel to company events.
Candidate requirements:
Time served / NVQ Level 3 qualified technician with vehicle assembly experience and fabrication skills.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to work to predetermined deadlines.
A flexible 'can do' attitude.
Ability to use measuring equipment - Digital calipers, micrometers, digital height gauge, etc.
Good attention to detail.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Strong problem solving skills.
Understanding of vehicle electronics and diagnostics.
Experience of hand built 'high end' vehicles would be advantageous.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 25,000.00-40,000.00 per year
