SG Technical Systems Ltd manufacture high quality equipment for specialist vehicle converters, the medical sector and light rail sector. Established in 2010 we are a successful, innovative business that continues to grow.

We are looking for an Assembly Technician with an eye for detail, aptitude for quality and who are keen to work in a hands-on role learning new skills in an established, successful and growing business. We will train you to assemble a large range of products and with new skills. The role is a paternity cover position for approximately 10 months but could well lead to a permanent position as SG continues to grows.

This is an interesting and varied role working as part of a close team assembling specialised ramps, folding steps, doors and specialised equipment. You must be keen to learn but previous assembly experience is not essential. Of most importance is a positive attitude, willingness and ability to learn, attention to detail and the drive to work hard as part of the team. Duties include:

Assemble components and products according to drawings. Utilise hand tools and hand power tools effectively to complete assembly tasks. Conduct checks on assembled products to ensure they meet company standards. Maintain a clean and organised workspace and adhere to safety protocols. Work effectively on your own or as part of as team. Report any issues to the supervisor.

Pay: 22,000.00-28,000.00 per year
