Hybrid working - travel around UK (primarily London, Oxford & Bristol to start with)

Position:

Permanent / Full-time


The role will focus on the build of both prototype and production micromobility vehicles, helping to define and validate the manufacturing processes and ensuring quality standards are upheld.


You'll work hand in hand with manufacturing and engineering teams over a mix of production stations from sub assembly to end of line, as well as supporting the development of the facility. As the team grows you'll support the on-boarding and training of new technicians, with scope to lead elements of the production.

Responsibilities



Physical assembly of prototype and production vehicles, and test/development assets Supporting continuous improvements activities such as fault management and build process development Maintaining MES dashboards with live status of production jobs vs the production schedule Carry out quality and EoL checks on completed vehicles and sub-systems, as well as rectification where necessary Support production line implementation and tooling introduction Support the on-boarding and training of new technicians Attend and contribute to daily status meetings, providing updates on build status and faults

What You'll Need



Strong background in prototype, motorsport, automotive, or aerospace environments - bespoke/high-end experience essential. All-round mechanical assembly skills across full vehicle build (suspension, steering, brakes); not limited to one discipline. Ability to define/build processes - not just follow instructions; proactive attitude required. Experience pressing bearings and handling medium-complexity mechanical assemblies confidently. Mindset: proactive but process-oriented - brings ideas but respects established procedures; not overly rigid or too maverick. Willingness to support/lead prototype builds and transition into production scale-up as business grows.
