Job Description

We are a leading UK-wide commercial livery and vinyl graphics provider, and we are

looking for an experienced Zund Operator to join our production team.

This role is central to our workflow, focusing on the precise cutting, finishing, and preparation of

vinyl graphics and printed materials. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with

Zund cutting systems and a strong understanding of how these processes support high-quality

livery installations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

? Set up, operate and maintain Zund and CNC cutting machines for vinyl graphics, printed

panels, and other substrates

? Accurately cut vinyl, laminates, and large-format printed materials in line with job

specifications

? Read and interpret artwork layouts, production sheets, and technical drawings

? Perform quality checks to ensure cuts, trims, and finished pieces meet required

tolerances

? Troubleshoot machine or workflow issues and carry out routine maintenance

? Work closely with the print, finishing, and fitting teams to maintain efficient production

flow

? Manage stock levels of vinyl, laminates, and consumables

? Follow all health & safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment

Requirements

? Minimum 2 years' experience operating Zund or similar digital cutting machines

? Strong background in vinyl graphics, signage, or commercial vehicle livery production

(preferred)

? Confident in reading artwork and production instructions

? Proficient with measuring tools (calipers, rulers, micrometers) and quality-control

processes

? Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude

? Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

? Excellent attention to detail

? Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
