We are Vehicle Breakdown & Recovery Company operating throughout Hertfordshire and surrounding counties providing 24 hour breakdown and recovery assistance. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to be based in our control room dispatching the most appropriate recovery vehicle to the scene and act as a liaison between the roadside technician and the motoring organisation. The ideal candidate would have basic knowledge from within the motoring industry and have previous control room/call handling experience although this is not essential as training will be given.
The role will be part of a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
Duties will include:
Offer front line customer support following a breakdown
Handling inbound and outbound calls to a wide variety of customers.
Receive and dispatch breakdown and recovery jobs to the appropriate recovery driver/technician
Ensure Customers are regularly updated
Booking jobs onto the in-house computer system
Dealing with customers for collections of their vehicles
Skills Required:
Good Computer skills
Excellent communication and customer care skills
A good standard of written and spoken English
Preferably some prior experience with call handling
Ability to work well under pressure during busy periods
Professional phone manner
Good geographical knowledge

Pay: 22,000.00-26,000.00 per month
