Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester

  • Basic Salary Up to \xc2\xa340,000 + bonus Dependent on Experience
  • Independent Garage
  • Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:00
  • Tunbridge Wells Area
Our Client, a busy independent garage is looking for a Technician/MOT Tester to Join their expanding great workforce. In this Technician/MOT Tester role, you will carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and MOTs to a high standard, communicating with colleagues and customers in a polite, friendly and professional manner while maintaining strong organisation, efficiency and accuracy.

Our Client is seeking an individual with experience as a Technician or related role to join the workshop team and support their increased workload.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester with our Client
  • Carrying out advanced repair of vehicles to excellent standards
  • Complete MOTs within the allotted time frame to ensure efficient flow of work through the workshop
  • Service and repair vehicles to a high standard
  • Communicating with the Service Reception team and Workshop Control on test result and additional work necessary
  • Ensure quality inspection controls are carried out
  • Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge
  • Maintaining exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals

  • Valid NVQ Level 3 certification essential
  • Complete work to an efficient, high standard
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Quality awareness and attention to detail
  • Customer awareness
  • Communication and teamwork skills
  • Full UK driving license essential
