Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 17:00 (1-hour lunch break)
- Saturday: 08:30 - 12:30 (on a 1-in-3 rota)
As a Service Technician and MOT Tester, you'll play a key role in ensuring vehicles are serviced, maintained, and tested to the highest standards. Your work will directly contribute to customer satisfaction and the overall performance of the workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle servicing and repairs in line with manufacturer standards.
- Complete MOT testing in accordance with DVSA regulations.
- Work collaboratively within the service team and dealership processes.
- Liaise with customers professionally when needed.
- Support and mentor junior technicians.
- Attend ongoing technical training sessions.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant working environment.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Relevant City & Guilds, BTEC, or NVQ qualifications.
- A valid MOT testing licence.
- Experience working within a franchised dealership environment.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- A customer-first mindset and strong teamwork ethic.
- Good planning and organisational skills.
