FULL TIME PART TIME or FREELANCE

Vehicle Technician required for a Classic car and Retro/ Modern performance car workshop.

The ideal candidate should be an experienced technician and have varied knowledge of Classic Cars and Retro/Modern Performance cars with many years of experience.

The candidate will must have knowledge in the following areas.

Classic Cars

Retro And Modern cars

Engine rebuilds, servicing and tuning

Duties will include:

Diagnosing and fixing cars to a high standard.

Welding is essential.

A good understanding of automotive welding.

MIG and TIG knowledge needed.

The ability to strip cars down for restoration (and build back up) as well as parts knowledge.

Have a strict attention to detail.

Meet with clients, face to face or over the phone or via the internet.

The candidate must have a passion for cars and have a drive to grow the business.

Requirements:

5 years' experience of car mechanics / welding and working within a workshop with a good understanding of the technical requirements needed to deliver high standards. Excellent organisational skills with a logical and methodical approach. Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical staff and customers. Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills. Hold a full valid driving licence which is free from excessive penalties. Have a passion for Classic and Modern vehicles. Welding experience would be an advantage.
Salary IRO 29k. Upwards depending on experience.

Full valid driving licence required.
