We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for automotive repair and maintenance. As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of our clients' vehicles, providing high-quality service in a timely manner.

Our ideal candidate will also be a qualified MOT tester and have the drive and determination to make a positive contribution within the team

Duties

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to diagnose issues and identify necessary repairs. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and replacements. Maintain accurate records of work performed on each vehicle, including parts used and time spent on repairs. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of service. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology to enhance skills and knowledge.

Experience

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician is essential Qualified MOT Tester prefered Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various vehicle systems. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. A relevant qualification in automotive engineering or mechanics is advantageous but not essential. Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
