An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Vehicle Technician at SMC SEAT & CUPRA Woking!

Type: Full-time
Length: Permanent
Salary: 35,000 - 40,000 (dependent on qualifications) + Bonus

DescriptionSMC Woking is looking for a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join our busy, long-standing workshop team.
Our SMC SEAT and CUPRA Woking site is proud to have been awarded Aftersales Dealer of the Year four times! As a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining and repairing motor vehicles to the high standards of the SEAT and CUPRA brands. Previous main dealer experience is desirable.

If you are looking to progress in your career as a Vehicle Technician, further training is available in EV/hybrid, diagnostics and MOT tester qualifications, enabling our team to develop their skills.
RequirementsKey job areas of the Vehicle Technician role:

Carry out servicing and maintenance of vehicles.
Vehicle maintenance such as oil and filter changes.
Complete job cards and write ups on franchise platforms.
Complete vehicle health checks (VHCs)
Work as a full member of the dealership team.

What we're looking for in a Vehicle Technician:

NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Repair or equivalent.
Previous main dealer experience.
Ability to complete motor vehicle repairs and routine maintenance.
Willingness to work effectively within a team and ensure industry leading customer service.
Accuracy in using our online VHC Video System.
Strong communication skills to communicate effectively with colleagues.
Flexible 'can do' attitude.
Ability to use own initiative and work under minimum supervision.
Full UK driving licence.
