Vendor Contracts and Renewals Lead



The purpose of this Vendor Contracts and Renewals Lead role is to design and deliver a data-driven renewals function that delivers measurable commercial impact, maximizing customer retention, profitability (upsell/x-sell) and process efficiency.

Working with the department head, this role is pivotal in driving cost efficiency and growth, while influencing the development of the team.

What does this role involve?



Our Vendor Contracts and Renewals lead will be responsible for...

Coordination and ownership of reports including contract performance, exposure and price increases Obtaining and checking quotes from vendors and processing purchase orders as appropriate. Developing and maintaining the contract portfolio on our internal systems. Maintaining Avaya licenses. Communicating updates around supplier contracts to the wider sales and commercial teams. Coordinating customer contract terminations. Supporting with pricing. Championing churn analytics and integrate NPS scores or insights into the workflow, embedding "Voice of the Customer" feedback into revised processes. Devise margin improvement / protection strategies in line company goals. Negotiation with Vendors to reduce costs and gain favourable terms. Take an active role in the development of the team, instilling best practise and good commercial acumen.

Is this role for me?



We're looking for someone with 3 to 5 years' experience in Renewals Management within a VAR or Software technology-focused business or equivalent essential. Experience with Cisco / Avaya / NICE and Network Service is an advantage.

A proven ability to manage revenue and margin performance, driving profitability and retention An analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making capabilities Advanced Excel skills. Experience in change management, process optimisation, and automation within renewals. A Levels (or equivalent) and educated to degree level (this is a preference, not essential and all candidates with relevant experience will be considered).
