ROLE DESCRIPTION





Channel 4 is launching a new direct-to-consumer OTT platform to deliver world-class digital experiences to our audiences. As part of this strategic programme, we are partnering with a leading technology supplier to build and implement the platform. We are looking for a skilled Vendor & Contract Manager to oversee and manage the performance of this strategic supplier, ensuring delivery is aligned with the contractual scope, key milestones, KPIs, and commercial agreements.



This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a high-profile programme that sits at the heart of Channel 4's digital transformation strategy.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Vendor Performance Management - Monitor and assess the strategic supplier's delivery against agreed contractual obligations, including service levels, KPIs, milestones, and project deliverables. Contract Management - Serve as the primary point of contact for contract governance and execution. Ensure all terms, obligations, and change requests are well-documented, tracked, and adhered to. Commercial Oversight - Manage commercial aspects of the supplier engagement, including invoicing, milestone payments, change control, and commercial risk mitigation. Governance & Reporting - Establish and run regular performance and contract review forums. Produce clear reports on supplier performance, risks, issues, and escalation requirements. Stakeholder Engagement - Work closely with Programme, Legal, Procurement, Technology, Finance and Executive stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and transparency. Risk & Issue Management - Identify, document, and address risks, non-compliance, or underperformance in a timely and commercially appropriate manner.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE & SKILLS


Proven experience in vendor management or contract management within large-scale technology implementations. Strong understanding of commercial frameworks, including fixed-price, milestone-based, and time & materials contracts. Experience managing suppliers delivering OTT platforms, digital products, or complex technology services. Deep knowledge of SLA/KPI frameworks, with the ability to challenge and track supplier adherence. Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to act as a commercial bridge between internal teams and external suppliers. Experience in change control, scope management, and managing contractual disputes or escalations. Strong analytical and reporting skills; highly organised with attention to detail.

Basic salary per annum starting from



70,000.00
