We're looking for a passionate and detail-driven Mould Surveyor who shares our vision for improving indoor air quality and making a real impact in communities across the UK.
/ Position Overview
As a mould surveyor, you'll play a vital role in identifying the root causes of mould and condensation issues in residential properties, particularly within the social housing sector.
You will carry out detailed property surveys, assess ventilation systems, and recommend tailored solutions that align with our proven treatment and prevention methods. Working as part of our national team, you'll help ensure every property we assess meets the highest standards of health, safety, and comfort.
The position is ideal for someone with a background in building surveying, property management, construction, or domestic ventilation systems, who wants to apply their technical knowledge in a rewarding and people-focused role.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed on-site and virtual property assessments to diagnose the causes of mould, condensation and poor ventilation.
Evaluate and report on existing domestic ventilation systems and recommend appropriate improvements or installations.
Produce comprehensive digital survey reports, outlining findings and tailored remedial solutions.
Liaise with clients, tenants and property managers ensuring clear, empathetic, and professional communication at every stage.
Work collaboratively with our remediation and installation teams to ensure consistency and quality of service across all projects.
Uphold The Dwelling Doctors' values of integrity, respect, and excellence in every client interaction.
Participate in ongoing training to stay at the forefront of ventilation and mould remediation technologies.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience conducting surveys within social housing or residential environments.
Strong understanding of domestic ventilation systems and how they relate to mould and condensation issues
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
Confident in using digital tools and software to record survey data and generate reports.
Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.
Full UK Driving Licence (company vehicle provided)
