Elmbridge Farm is an idyllic countryside venue in Worcestershire, offering luxury rustic weddings and holiday stays. Our wedding tipis host unique celebrations for up to 150 guests from spring to autumn.

Our year-round accommodation includes lodges, bell tents, and safari tents, sleeping up to 50 guests. Over the past five years, we have gone from strength to strength, driven by our passion for creating exceptional guest experiences. With exciting venue developments currently underway, this is a fantastic time to join our growing team.

Job summary:



We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Venue Manager & Wedding Co-ordinator to join our small, dynamic team at an exciting stage in the development of our venue. Working closely with the Venue Manager, you'll play an integral role in supporting the planning, management, and coordination of weddings, as well as general venue operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in the events industry while gaining hands-on experience in a supportive environment.

You will be working on the farm's premises where you will find yourself surrounded by beautiful countryside, this varied role combines wedding planning and venue management allowing you to make a real impact within a small, close-knit team. You can expect a position with high levels of autonomy and responsibility, along with plenty of opportunities for personal and professional growth.

On a day-to-day basis you will be involved in a wide variety of activities, these include:

Wedding Planning and Co-ordination



Creating detailed event plans for weddings Responding to queries and providing guidance to booked couples Co-ordinating wedding days from setup to delivery Managing your own couples throughout the planning process

Venue Management & Accomodation



Assisting with the daily management of the venue's operations Helping with venue maintenance and general upkeep Sharing showaround responsibilites of potential couples

Holiday Let Management



Management of holiday lets systems and processes

Bar Management



Assisting with general bar management including stock management Running the bar during some events, ensuring smooth bar and event operations

General Administration & Operations



Supporting with general administrative tasks such as supplier communications, bookings, and system management Managing of communication with customers across phone, e-mail and social media Design work and creation of collateral

Essential Skills, Experience & Attributes;



Experience in the below area's advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. More important is your enthusiasm, organisational ability, and desire to learn.

Weddings, service, or events industry Bar work or Hospitality Canva or other design work
We are looking for someone who is:

A self-starter, capable of working independently Highly organised and process-driven Comfortable in a small business environment Positive, enthusiastic, and adaptable Confident managing multiple projects simultaneously Team player with the ability to work under the direction of the Venue Manager Able to thrive in a fast-paced wedding-day environment Capable of managing and motivating team members Strong in time management and prioritisation Approachable, professional, and relationship-focused

Number of hours per week:

40 hours per week.

Working pattern and contracted hours:



October - April: Mon - Fri 9:00am - 4:30pm. With one weekend day twice per month to show the venue to potential couples.

April - October: 5 days per week including Saturday (wedding days).

Wedding shift times of 8.30am to 6pm or 6pm to 1.30am.

Salary:



Full time salary of 26k per annum
